FAQ - Common questions, clear answers
Practical answers about implementation, speed, security, and what to expect.
Do you implement, or is this just strategy?+
We implement this for you, it is not a strategy deck that collects dust. Our team builds the automation, tests it with your data, and hands you a working system. You do not need technical staff to get started or to keep it running.
What if my problem isn't listed?+
That is completely fine, the examples are there to spark ideas and show what is possible. Describe your workflow in plain language and we will translate it into practical automation options. If it is repetitive and time-consuming, we can usually streamline it.
How fast can you deliver?+
Most projects go from kickoff to working automation in days, not months. Simple workflows can be live within a week. More complex integrations usually take 2-3 weeks depending on system access, approvals, and test cycles.
Is this secure and responsible?+
Yes, we build practical guardrails in from day one without slowing delivery to a crawl. We define access controls, approval points, and data handling rules based on your environment and risk level. You stay in control of what data is used and how decisions are reviewed.
How do you handle our data?+
We apply encryption in transit and at rest, isolate client data by tenant and access scope, and use retention windows aligned to delivery requirements. We minimize copied data, keep audit trails for workflow actions, and document where data is stored, processed, and deleted.
Who has access to our systems?+
Access is least-privilege and time-bounded. We use role-based permissions, maintain audit logs, and avoid standing administrative access. Production credentials are scoped to required services only, and access paths are removed when implementation is complete.
Do ClearPoint Logic employees have access to my company or customer data?+
No. Your data is processed by our AI systems to complete the automations you configure. Our team does not have visibility into your business data, customer records, or communications. Access controls are scoped to infrastructure and monitored through audit logs. Full data handling details are available in our Privacy Policy.
Why trust ClearPoint Logic?+
ClearPoint Logic is founder-led by a CIO, a CISO, and an Enterprise Architect who have delivered in real-world environments. That means we focus on systems that are useful, secure, and maintainable, not demo-only prototypes. We also explain tradeoffs in plain language so you can make confident decisions.
How much does it cost?+
Every project is scoped to the workflow and systems involved, so pricing is tailored rather than generic. After your free Opportunity Scan, we provide a clear scope, delivery plan, and fixed-fee quote so expectations are explicit. No surprise add-ons for basic implementation work.
What are my ongoing costs after the engagement?+
Your monthly cost covers the AI API usage (OpenAI, Google, etc.) that powers your automations, plus our platform hosting fee. Token costs scale with usage — most clients see $50–$300/month in API costs depending on automation volume. We provide a cost dashboard in your admin portal so there are no surprises.
What industries do you work with?+
We work across industries where teams deal with repetitive processes and manual handoffs. We have seen strong results in construction, healthcare billing, real estate, and professional services, but those are not the only fit. If your team is losing time to repeatable admin work, we can likely automate it.
Do I need to change my existing tools?+
Usually no, we design around the tools your team already uses today. That includes common systems like spreadsheets, email, CRMs, ticketing platforms, and accounting software. Our default approach is integration, not rip-and-replace.
What happens after the automation is delivered?+
You choose. We can hand it off with full documentation and training so your team runs it independently. Or we can manage it for you — with a dedicated support agent that knows your business, ongoing optimization, and 24/7 availability. Either way, you get a working system from day one.
What if I want to make changes after our engagement ends?+
Changes can be requested anytime through your ClearPoint admin portal. Simple updates (copy, routing rules, new data fields) are handled via agent-based change requests — often completed without re-engagement. For new workflows or significant expansions, we scope a follow-on engagement.
What happens at project handoff?+
Handoff includes system documentation, workflow maps, operating runbooks, and live training sessions for your team. We transfer practical capability, not just files, so your operators can maintain and improve the automation without dependency on us.
How do you handle software updates and security patches?+
For GCP-hosted deployments (our standard), updates and security patches are applied automatically during maintenance windows — no action required from you. For client-environment deployments, we provide a quarterly patch cadence and notify you at least 14 days in advance.
How long does a typical engagement take?+
Small Business Track projects are typically delivered in 5-10 business days for the first production workflow. Medium Business Track engagements are usually phased over 3-8 weeks depending on integrations, approvals, and compliance constraints.
Do we need to commit long-term?+
No. Our approach is explicitly no lock-in. You can choose a full handoff model, short-term stabilization support, or an ongoing optimization retainer only if it makes operational sense for your team.
What if we're not satisfied?+
We define acceptance criteria before build starts and review progress at each milestone. If deliverables miss the agreed criteria, we remediate at no extra cost until they meet scope. The goal is measurable outcomes, not billing for iteration.
Why not just use Zapier or Make?+
Great tools — for simple connections between two or three apps. But fewer than 20% of SMBs successfully automate their workflows with off-the-shelf platforms. The gap is not the tool, it is knowing what to build, building it correctly across complex multi-system integrations, and maintaining it when things change. We close that gap. See our Why ClearPoint page for the full breakdown.
